I currently reside in my hometown Mobile, Alabama. I was born in Lovington, New Mexico. I wander everywhere and anywhere I can. I thrive mostly in the unknown. In 2009, I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a dual degree/concentration earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts for both Photography and Graphic Design.
My newest series, BRiNK, was spawned from experimenting in the garage while trying to capture smoke I wanted for a photograph that I was shooting for my BFA Photo Thesis in 2009. I’m drawn to finding inspiration from the unknown, unseen, and untapped genetic wisdom found in the mind. I shoot because I have to. I'm always inspired by a group of individuals in my life I like to call the “Top Ten Women”. In this world, there are certain people who exhibit such remarkable character and carry this innate natural wisdom. These particular women have been superior mentors and friends that could only have shaped my life to become richer and bolder, full of experience and positive thinking. Having emerged from some genius, primordial soup; they continue to encourage me to live creatively, to fulfill the empty pockets of earth, to raise the bar, and to find my own niche and niches in the world of conceptual fine art photography. I owe my "whys" to those "wise" women that I have learned from along the way. I love conceptual thinking and strive for intuitive, innovative concepts in both photography and graphic design.
Since graduation, I have presented new work in solo exhibitions, and have received several awards through various juried shows.
